biography
Marina-chan started from humble beginnings as a swan from Swan Lake. She doesn’t know much about the magical girl industry, but she does know that she wants to protect people from nightmares. Mirror-chan has taken her as a sidekick and is training her to be a professional. Although she’s a little bit nervous about it, Marina-chan is working hard to become a strong magical girl.

Author's Notes
Of course a comic wouldn’t be fun if we didn’t get to see a character grow and become stronger. As much as I disliked Sailor Moon and her alter ego, Usagi Tsukino, I did enjoy watching her learn new powers, especially her super spin rainbow blast (I know that’s not what it’s called, but Sailor Moon fans know what I mean). So Marina-chan is the foil character for Mirror-chan, in that she’s pretty much useless for a while. But that’s fine, because we get to watch her become a professional magical girl!
Her outfit is based on a ballerina and the ballet “Swan Lake”. I wanted to give her a dainty, delicate, and regal appearance.
